It all happened here

- Riding a SeaDoo in the Bora Bora southern Lagoon.
We did it! We completed our trip to Bora Bora. More than a visit, we spent real time, we relaxed, we forgot a little of what was left behind. Most important, we dreamed and we planned. The seeds of our hopes to “do” and “see” turned into discussions and lists. We made lists to accomplish the things we dream about and “do” the things we only “talk” about. The plans are huge and the lists are long, but they come back with us in our hearts and will be the greatest treasure we discovered abroad.
Tomorrow we catch our flight back to Papeete, Tahiti. There we will spend a night at the Hilton Tahiti Airport - which is actually a very nice hotel with the largest hotel pool on the island. Finally, at 9PM we head to the Faaa Int’l to catch our redeye to Seattle, then a long layover for our flight to PDX. Whew.
Curious about what it’s like in Bora Bora ;-) Let me show you some photos and videos and say that every picture you’ve seen probably used no filters or after effects: the lagoon sparkles every shade of florescent blue you could imagine … all day long. Rapturing.
