Bora Bora and I’m no writer

The title says it all. Well not “all”, that’s a cliché.

The idea that I’d be visiting the Island of Bora Bora, French Polynesia and that I’d also start a blog both seem beyond acceptable to me. Who wants to visit the most famous island in the world alone; the ideal paradise for every honeymooner? Who starts a blog, when as a child just opening the creative writing notebook in school to see a blank page resulted in sweaty palms and a breakout in hives?

As it turns out ;-), my life has had unexpexted changes. My wife as of June 30th, 2024 is the perfect companion for traveling and who wouldn’t want to spend 4 weeks on the magical island of Bora Bora. We are indeed experiencing, as the band Styx once wrote, “The Best of Times”, but my wife is also a web site aficionado.

So Matisse started me Square Space where I can write the happenings of my life, and thus, the “blog”.

I’m not an english expert. I cannot spell have the words I can pronouce. None the less, I find great pleaseure in jotting my thoughts and sharing my memoirs with no one. That’s right, this blog is not for people to read, but purely for me to write, and boy am I having fun!!!

I find, now in my life, that I do enjoy writing and I’m looking forward to it. So for all the challenges I had in school, hear is yet another fantastic journey!!!
